We use them for our dogs. We only use them now and then. They work fine but are a nuisance to put up and take down. So, they are best in a place where they will remain up for a long period.

Does the job. Easy to install using threaded rods and the plastic hardware. Nice to have something very sturdy (1 year old can pull, push, lean, etc) and not have to worry about it releasing off the wall, especially since we are using the tension instead of the screws (avoid drywall repair later). Handle operates fine, can be a little difficult if your hands are full because you have to slide the lock while lifting up on the handle, but it can be done with one hand.

Door Opening could be wider.And they need to change the length variations. For my opening it was too long with the extension, but too short without it. I had to order the smaller extension separately and now it's perfect!!
